Nice songs!

Yeh kahaan mil gaye hum - KK

[ Yeh kahaan mil gaye hum..
Yeh kahaan mil gaye hum..
Aasmaan bhi.. lo has diya... ] 2

Har nazara bhi... Khil gaya...
Parbaton ke raaste.., rasto pe hum.
Chahto ke vaaste, Chahto mein hum
Chal mere sanam..

[Yeh kahaan mil gaye hum..
Yeh kahaan mil gaye hum..
Shayad ruthega sara jahaan..
Gham ke chayegi.. Woh badaliyaan...
Bahakega ye jahan, saath honge hum
Aaye na woh durriyan, paas honge hum
Chal mere sanam

Duniya se hai bhala ye samaa...
Deeware dale na darmiyaan....
Dilwalon ke liye hai sazaa
Dekho na, phulon se mehka gulsitan
Gungunati hai hawa, saath gaye hum
Dolegi nadi jahan, bahte jaye hum
Chal mere sanam

Maanaa hai pyaara ye jahaan
Tumpe thahare fir bhi nigah
Dil mera darta hai yahaan, har lamha
Tumko na khodu jaane jaan
Paas mere aao tum yaar har janam
Jism badalenge magar.. ruh wahi sanam
Chal mere sanam..

Yeh kahaan mil gaye.. hum
Yeh kahaan mil gaye.. hum
Harr nazara bhi khil gaya
Parbaton ke raaste, rasto pe hum
Chahto ke vaaste, chahto mein hum
Chal mere sanam

Quite an old song, but seem to still have some novelty in it! :)

Especially with the new people singing it. ;)

Teri yaadein - Song + Lyrics

:) Back after a real long time. Nothing original at the moment. However came across this nice song : Teri yaadein from the serial Love Story

Here are the lyrics:

Teri yaadein, mulaqatein, wo raatein, aur baatein;
Teri saansein, wo baahein, ab mujhko yaad aaye.

Tere bina mera jiya, sataaye kyu piya, yaadon ne teri mujhpe, ye jaadu kiya re.

Teri saansein, woh baahein, ab mujhko yaad aaye;
Woh aadaon, ki ghataayein, mere dil ko chhuu jaaye.

Pyari, ye duniya saari maine, hai tujhpe wari, dilne, mere dilne tujhse yaari, ki baazi haari re...

Mere khayalo mein, (khayalo mein ....), bas tum.

Meri nigahon mein, (nigahon mein .....), bas tuum.

Waapas aa jao... mere paas, tum sadaa, waapas aa jao.

Mere paas, tum sadaa ....

Suuna, mera jahaan bhula, main hun kahan jaana, hai jaanejaan, tera rahun...

Piyaaaaaa .................... (piyaaa.....) .........wapas aa jao.

Mere paas, tum sadaa, wapas aa jao.

Mere paas, tum sadaa

Piya tera jiya .... (Piya tera jiya...) .....Piya tera jiya .... (Piya tera jiya...)

Tuuuu hai kahaaaan ....

Tera karun intezar, tu mere dil ka karar;

Itna hai aitbar, maanunga naa main bhi haar...

Hopefully, this song brings me back on track! ;)

I am right, when I am wrong

The tide is long gone past, when you realize that there was a tide in the first place.

Precisely the same goes with time.

Life passes beyond your expectations and brings up the past too.

Moving to the future looking at your past may seem wrong, but it is quite right. After all, the past is in the future.

Where is the present? The ephemeral present is an illusion, bridging the past and the future.

One needs to realize that the present is a state where you need to take hold of your past and set a course for future. Neither are exclusive.

Aamir Khan in RDB said "Ek pair hamara gujare hue kal pe hai aur ek aney wale kal pe isiliye hum aaj pe muut rahe hain".

Am confused and reversed. I'd say "Hum aaj pe toh khade hain lekin gujare hue kal ko dekhte hue, aane wale kal pe muut rahe hain".

Long live the future of the past. :P

I know I am wrong, but then I am right, when I am wrong. ;)

Listening to Life!!

There are these special days, when you wake up with a severe hammering going on in your head. It feels quite disorienting, however you force yourself to ignore the obvious and move on.

The banging and clanging within the head doesn't stop. All you do is push it to the background.

Why don't you once ask - "What's Wrong?" Ohh!! Asking that pains a lot more. Doesn't it?

If you did pay attention to your head once, you'd find something really cool.

It's your life, desperate to give you a piece of your mind! :) Confusing ain't I?? ;)

How do you listen to it? Obviously go out into the rush of things and babble on, till no end and then drop dead tired. :P

Hmm.. well am really trying to figure out what my life wants to say. :(
Haven't been able to uncover a single clue, but yea, am listening and listening to quite a large amount of information. I guess, I haven't heard my life before.

Wish you luck for your tryst with life! :)

Personality Types

http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

Interesting thing about finding out your personality type. However, I get varying results each time I do it. ;) Dynamic personality??? :P

Current Personality Type:

ISFJ - Introverted Sensing Feeling Judging

Strength of Preferences:

Introverted - 33
Sensing - 25
Feeling - 12
Judging - 1

The Portait of the Protector (ISFJ)

The primary desire of the Protector Guardian is to be of service to others, but here "service" means not so much furnishing others with the necessities of life (the Provider's concern), as guarding others against life's pitfalls and perils, that is, seeing to their safety and security. There is a large proportion of Protectors in the population, perhaps as much as ten percent. And a good thing, because they are steadfast in their protecting, and seem fulfilled in the degree they can insure the safekeeping of those in their family, their circle of friends, or their place of business.

Protectors find great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden and can deal with disability and neediness in others better than any other type. They go about their task of caretaking modestly, unassumingly, and because of this their efforts are not sometimes fully appreciated. They are not as outgoing and talkative as the Providers, except with close friends and relatives. With these they can chat tirelessly about the ups and downs in their lives, moving (like all the Guardians) from topic to topic as they talk over their everyday concerns. However, their shyness with strangers is often misjudged as stiffness, even coldness, when in truth these Protectors are warm-hearted and sympathetic, giving happily of themselves to those in need.

Their quietness ought really to be seen as an expression, not of coldness, but of their sincerity and seriousness of purpose. Like all the Guardians, Protectors have a highly developed puritan work ethic, which tells them that work is good, and that play must be earned-if indulged in at all. The least hedonic of all types, Protectors are willing to work long, long hours doing all the thankless jobs the other types seem content to ignore. Thoroughness and frugality are also virtues for Protectors. When they undertake a task, they will complete it if at all humanly possible; and they know the value of material resources and abhor the squandering or misuse of these resources. Protectors are quite content to work alone; indeed, they may experience some discomfort when placed in positions of authority, and may try to do everything themselves rather than insist that others do their jobs.

With their extraordinary commitment to security, and with their unusual talent for executing routines, Protectors do well in many careers that have to do with conservation: curators, private secretaries, librarians, middle-managers, police officers, and especially general medical practitioners. To be sure, the hospital is a natural haven for them; it is home to the family doctor, preserver of life and limb, and to the registered nurse, or licensed practical nurse, truly the angels of mercy. The insurance industry is also a good fit for Protectors. To save, to put something aside against an unpredictable future, to prepare for emergencies-these are important actions to Protectors, who as insurance agents want to see their clients in good hands, sheltered and protected.

Mother Teresa, George H.W. Bush, Jimmy Steward, and Tsar Nicholas II are examples of Protector Guardian style.

Who has the time to read crap :P ;).

Biking n Life

If you have ever gone biking, you shall appreciate the beauty of dynamic stability.

A four-wheeled drive, simply lacks the charisma of a bike.

Speed is not the essence of driving.

The splendour is in control.

Life is much like biking. You skid at times, sometimes the brakes squeal and sometimes you end up in ditches.

And then the cruise is so beautiful, that all the past pain is thrown to the winds which bring immense peace to the soul.

Sometimes you fly across hurdles, the super human effort that takes you places in life.

The turns are routine and yet each holds a freshness within. You may come to a bend everyday of your life, yet it isn't the same. The dynamism of biking just can't let a turn be the same on any of the day's.

That's what I like about life too.
Each day is new.
Fresh like never before.

Some days I fail to notice the freshness. Other days I just don't seem to lose the novelty of the day. It lingers till no end.

I don't know why, but life's just quite like biking. [Or maybe biking's quite like life ;)]
Who cares!! I enjoy both the same!! :)

Wat nxt??

Life's moving just like a roller coaster ride!! Up, Down, Round and Round!!

But am hoping this one to be a little different. Not the regular roller coaster where you end up right where you began, but one that goes on and on and on till the end...

Roller coasters seem so interesting... the thrill of weightlessness, the fear of a drop down the abyss, the world turning upside down ... ohhh that's so much like life! :)

This post is just to remind myself that I am passing through a wonderful bend in the journey, a fall here, a lift there and yet it's fun everywhere. I don't know how shall this all end, but I really wish that this would remain a never-ending bend!

Choices?!?

There is this queer issue that crops up now and then.

My shoe size is 9, but quite often a shoe of size 8 fits my foot perfectly and then there are times when size 9 seems a tad small for my feet.
The entire universe seems to conspire against this poor soul, out to select the shoes that fit him the best.
Some people crave for choices all their life and I ... I am reversed. I hate choices.

I'd rather relish a particular flavour of ice-cream rather than look at choices and desire the flavour that my brother has chosen.

People often confuse choices with an aversion to change. (Oops, I am the one confused on the contrary.)

Change is quite distinct from selecting among choices. I believe that change doesn't give you options. Opposing change is opposing the inevitable and those who are averse to change, merely make a mockery of their vocabulary.
Change is never an option and rather a given.

So going back to my aversion of choices, it stems from the fact that by some rule of nature, I shall get precisely that, which I don't want. Poor me!! :(

Choices are for those who aren't either confused or reversed or both. Well … certainly not for me.

I am unable to figure out, if I should stick to the shoe size for my subsequent shoe or the fitting. It may seem obvious right now, but when the choice stares you right in the face, somehow the obvious turns oblivious.

Risk

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To place our ideas, our dreams, before a crowd is to risk their loss.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair. To risk is to risk failure.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, and is nothing.
Only a person who risks is free.

---Anonymous

Liked the quote a lot. Says too much about me.

A person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing and is nothing.
